Site Service Engineer

Our client, an established independent security systems integrator, is looking for a Site Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Central London.

Key responsibilities of the Site Service Engineer job in Central London:
Carry out day-to-day maintenance, fault finding and repair of complex analogue and digital CCTV systems.
Maintain and repair multi-site Access Control Systems.
Support and maintain perimeter detection systems.
Provide maintenance and support for control room systems and associated equipment.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
Respond to reactive faults and daily service requests.
Assist with out-of-hours and weekend works when required.
Complete service documentation and ensure helpdesk records are accurately updated.
Provide a professional, reliable and customer-focused service at all times.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative engineering environment.
Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional travel and overnight stays.
Experience required for the Site Service Engineer job in Central London:
Experience working as a CCTV Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, Service Engineer, Access Control Engineer or similar.
Experience with enterprise-level security platforms, such as Avigilon / ACC, Bosch BVMS, AXIS Camera Station, Pelco VideoXpert, Hikvision, Hanwha Vision, C*CURE, AMAG Symmetry, Honeywell Pro-Watch, SALTO, Paxton or similar
Hands-on experience maintaining and fault-finding CCTV systems.
Experience working with Access Control systems.
Good knowledge of DVR and NVR systems.
Good understanding of IT and IP-based systems and networks.
Experience carrying out on-site repairs and reactive fault finding.
Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach.
Good customer-facing and communication skills.
Ability to complete technical documentation accurately.
Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
Flexible approach to working practices, including out-of-hours and weekend work when required.
Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance/vetting.
