We are hiring for our client, a well-established and successful organisation based in Cookstown, as they seek to appoint an experienced Site Services Engineer.
The successful Site Services Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimising a broad range of essential site utility systems. These will include steam generation and distribution, water and effluent treatment, compressed air, refrigeration plant, heat pumps and low-voltage electrical systems.

The Role
- Maintain and optimise the performance of site services and utility systems
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Support steam generation and distribution systems
- Maintain water and effluent treatment equipment
- Monitor compressed air, refrigeration and heat pump systems
- Diagnose faults across mechanical and low-voltage electrical equipment
- Complete inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency
- Support compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs
- Work closely with engineering, production and external service providers
The Person
- Time served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
- Previous experience within a site services, utilities, facilities or maintenance engineering position
- Experience working with industrial utility systems such as steam, refrigeration, compressed air or water treatment
- A practical and methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Comfortable working a rotating early and late shift pattern
