Skilled Labourer
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Skilled Labourer to work across East Sussex, based in Uckfield. You will be working alongside an experienced team on high-end residential conversions, refurbishments and new build passive homes.
About the hours & salary
This is a self-employed Skilled Labourer position working 8 hours per day, starting at 7.30am, with two half-hour breaks and you will receive a salary of £150 per day, depending on experience.
About the role
As a Skilled Labourer, you will support the construction team across a range of exciting high-end building projects, including bespoke conversions and energy-efficient new build passive homes. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same and your duties will include:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with day-to-day construction tasks
- Preparing and maintaining work areas to ensure projects run efficiently
- Loading, unloading and moving building materials and equipment
- Carrying out general labouring duties on site
- Supporting first and second fix carpentry work where required
- Keeping the site clean, safe and organised at all times
- Working as part of a professional team to deliver projects to the highest standards
