Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to build something great? We're hiring Timber Assembly Operatives to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing team in Glasgow.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and technical drawings, and a drive to achieve high standards of quality and output.
What you'll be doing:
As a Skilled Production Operative, you'll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:
Following step-by-step process guides to build wall panels and install windows and doors within a fast-moving manufacturing environment
Interpreting technical drawings to ensure builds are completed accurately and to the required quality standards
Using a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Carrying out manual handling of timber and other materials
Working to daily quality and production targets
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Working closely with your team and line leader to maintain efficient workflows
Supporting continuous improvement across the production processShift & Pay Details:
Early Shift
Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm
£13.65 per hour, increasing to £15.05 per hour following successful completion of training.
Back Shift
Monday to Thursday | 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday | 2:00pm - 6:00pm
£15.08 per hour, increasing to £16.63 per hour following successful completion of training.

Previous experience in a production, fabrication, joinery, timber or assembly environment
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and detailed work instructions
Confidence using hand and power tools
Strong focus on quality, safety and achieving production targets
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
