Smallworld Consultant

We are looking for a Functional Smallworld Consultant to support the delivery of complex geospatial solutions across major electrical utility projects in the UK and Europe. Duties & Requirements * Lead and support requirements gathering workshops with business users, technical teams and project stakeholders. * Analyse operational, functional and technical requirements across electricity distribution and transmission projects. * Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process maps and solution specifications. * Assess existing Smallworld processes, applications and data structures, identifying opportunities for improvement. * Work closely with devs, architects, testers and project managers to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements. * Act as the key functional link between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams. * Support the design and configuration of Smallworld based solutions for electrical utility environments. * Produce functional design documents, business requirements documents, use cases and acceptance criteria. * Support data migration, data validation and data-quality activities where required. * Assist with integrations between Smallworld and wider enterprise systems, including asset management, work management, outage management and network-modelling platforms. * Support system upgrades, application enhancements and transformation pro...
