SOC Shift Lead Location: London (Onsite, 24/7 Shift Pattern) Salary: Up to £84,000 (depending on experience) 25% Shift Premium We're looking for an experienced SOC Shift Lead to join a high-performing cyber security operations team supporting critical, secure infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.

This is an opportunity to lead incident response activities, mentor analysts, and play a key role in protecting complex enterprise environments from evolving cyber threats.
What You'll Be Doing Lead the investigation and response to medium and high-severity security incidents.
Act as the escalation point for complex cyber security events and threat activity.
Conduct root cause analysis and produce detailed incident reports.
Coordinate containment, eradication and recovery activities with technical teams.
Correlate data across SIEM, EDR and other security platforms to build comprehensive incident assessments.
Support detection engineering by identifying gaps in monitoring, alerting and response processes.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SOC analysts.
Participate in incident response exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
Take operational ownership of the SOC during your shift and act as the senior escalation point when required.
What We're Looking For 7 years' commercial experience within a SOC, Incident Response or Threat Detection environment.
Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, threat hunting and incident response methodologies.
Experience leading investigations and coordinating security responses across multiple teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. xwzovoh
Ability to work effectively within a 24/7 onsite shift environment.
