Salary & Benefits Social Worker: £37,938 – £39,513 per annum
Senior Social Worker: £40,476 – £45,718 per annum
In addition, you will receive:
£4,000 welcome payment
£2,000 annual retention payment
Relocation package of up to £8,000
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
25.5 days annual leave, rising to 30.5 days after five years' service
Option to purchase up to 10 additional days of annual leave each year

The service is structured to ensure Social Workers receive consistent support from experienced Team Managers and Advanced Practitioners, helping to maintain manageable caseloads, promote staff wellbeing, and deliver high-quality social work practice.
Key Responsibilities
Working with children and families within a statutory Children & Families Service
Completing high-quality assessments and developing effective plans of intervention
Managing a caseload and undertaking direct work with children, young people and families
Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns and risks
Building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and partner agencies
Promoting positive outcomes for children and supporting families to make sustainable change
Contributing to effective multi-agency working and safeguarding processes
Preparing reports and contributing to meetings, reviews and statutory processesAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have:
A recognised Social Work qualification
Current Social Work England registration
Experience working within statutory children's social care
Experience of assessment, safeguarding and working directly with children and families
A good understanding of relevant legislation, statutory guidance and social work practice
A commitment to improving outcomes for children and families
