Software Quality Test Engineer Didcot, Oxfordshire (site-based) | 18-month temporary contract | c£40,000-£48,000 per annum Recruiting on behalf of a global life sciences and analytical instrumentation organisation, we're looking for a Software Quality Test Engineer to support verification and validation of software within a Raman spectroscopy portfolio. Key duties Structured manual testing: regression, integration, workflow, usability and system-level testing Create/maintain test cases & procedures and execute verification against requirements Log, investigate and track defects through to resolution Collaborate with engineering, product, applications and quality teams Support release qualification and (where applicable) regulated documentation incl. 21 CFR Part 11What we're looking for Proven software testing/QA experience (strong manual testing background) Systems-thinking mindset-able to test end-to-end customer workflows across software + instrumentation Great attention to detail and clear stakeholder communication Nice to have: scientific/analytical instrumentation, Raman/spectroscopy, regulated environments, test automation, Agile#LI-CW1 __PRESENT Should you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.
