The Company:
Our client is an independently owned solar company, established in 2012 and based in Gloucestershire. They are a privately owned, smaller contractor with a team that takes pride in doing things properly.
The Opportunity:
Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a skilled electrician to join their growing team in Gloucestershire. Responsibilities include:
Installing and commissioning solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers
Working with premium systems including FoxESS, Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge and SunPower
Full electrical first and second fix
Inspection, testing and commissioning
Customer handovers, including monitoring apps and system setup
Working to BS 7671, MCS requirements
Working as part of a small, experienced team where your ideas are genuinely valued
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 / AM2 qualified electrician (or equivalent)
Current 18th Edition (BS 7671)
Full UK driving licence
Living within approximately 30 minutes of Gloucestershire
A pride in producing clean, professional installations and leaving sites tidy
Solar experience isn't essential - If you're a great electrician who hasn't worked in solar yet they offer a high level training programme. It is important they have the right person with the right attitude and electrical skills.
Desirable:
Solar PV experience
ECS / CSCS card
