Solar PV Trainer / Installation Supervisor Wrotham (Office, Site & Training Centre Based) Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solar PV professional to take on a dual-role position combining training delivery (50%) and installation compliance supervision (50%). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about renewable energy, enjoys developing others, and takes pride in maintaining high technical and quality standards across installations. You will play a key role in training the next generation of installers, while also ensuring projects are delivered in line with industry regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities 🔧 Training & Course Delivery (50%) * Deliver engaging Solar PV training courses (theory & practical) in a dedicated training centre * Prepare lesson plans and course materials aligned with awarding body standards * Assess learners through practical and written evaluations * Maintain accurate learner records and performance data * Support open days, course promotion, and learner engagement initiatives ⚡ Installation Supervision & Compliance (50%) Essential: * Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * Proven experience in Solar PV installations * Confident delivering training and presenting to groups * Full UK work authorisation Desirable: * Experience in inspections, audits, or quality assurance * Teaching or training qualification (AET, A1 Assessor) or willingness to obtain * Experience mentoring or coaching engineers or apprentices What’s on Offer * Salary up to £60,000 * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Company EV salary scheme * Employee volunteering days * Long service awards * Ongoing professional development * Team building and social events * Free on-site parking * Referral programme Additional Information * This role requires travel between office, training centre, and site locations * Candidates must have reliable transport * This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with training delivery Apply Now If you’re a skilled Solar PV professional looking to step into a role where you can train, mentor, and drive quality across renewable installations, we’d love to hear from you
