Scarsdale Solicitors is growing its Criminal Defence team and looking for an experienced solicitor to join our busy, supportive practice. We have a genuinely positive team culture where colleagues support one another while maintaining high professional standards. The role offers a varied caseload including police station attendance, Magistrates’ Court advocacy, Crown Court preparation, and client management.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full criminal defence caseload
• Preparing cases to a high standard
• Attending police stations and courts
• Liaising with counsel, experts, and external agencies
• Ensuring compliance with LAA and SRA requirements

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE
• CILEX qualified applicants welcome
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
• Driving licence preferred but not essential
