Solicitor

Solicitor or legal executive (with litigation rights) sought to work cases for specialist private crime firm based in the North of England. Firm are looking for someone with police station accreditation & crime experience of road traffic offence matters. This is a mainly remote working role with office attendance for a day every 2-3 weeks.

Role involves handling a caseload of road traffic offences plus other related areas such as inquests.

The job may involve some travel to various locations for court hearings, although the firm are happy to instruct counsel (and if you are ILEX without rights of audience).

Experience/qualifications:

• a) candidates MUST have full police station accreditation and
• b) have experience dealing with road traffic offences (experience of other related areas not essential)
• c) be able to attend the office in the North of England once every 2 to 3 weeks

This is a full time, 9-5 job, Mon-Fri. The firm would prefer you to be located in the North of England if at all possible. Salary range around £50K to £60K given as an indication and subject to negotiation.
