Sous Chef (Pub Kitchen)

Sous Chef – Monday to Friday Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour Contract: 5 days out of 7 Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join a busy hospitality team in Witney. We are looking for someone who is presentable, reliable, hard working and has a positive attitude, with a willingness to get stuck in and support both the kitchen and front-of-house teams. As Sous Chef, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and hospitality operation. Ordering stock and managing kitchen requirements Menu planning Batch cooking and food preparation Assisting with hospitality and events Working closely with the Front of House team and helping wherever required Reporting machine breakdowns, including Lavazza coffee machines and kitchen equipment Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food quality are maintained Holiday Cover The successful candidate will also be required to provide pre-booked holiday cover when necessary, including: Night Service: 18:00 – 02:00 Weekend Service: 07:30 – 14:30 These shifts will be for pre-booked holiday cover and will be communicated in advance. Has previous experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role Speaks and understands a good level of English Is flexible and willing to get involved in all areas of the operation Takes pride in delivering excellent food and hospitality If you're an experienced Chef looking for a Monday-Friday role with a great team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
