Specialised SEND Tutor

SEND Tutor - Anglesey Prospero Teaching are searching for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised support across Anglesey! The Opportunity We are looking for experienced teachers, tutors and mentors to provide individualised educational support to children and young people with additional needs. The role involves working closely with learners on a 1:1 basis and adapting sessions to suit their individual abilities, interests and educational goals. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong academic background, including Maths or core subject teaching experience. Position Details: Location: Anglesey Position: SEND Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: OngoingExperience, Training and Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English or another core subject Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs QTS or equivalent qualification desirable Patient, creative and adaptable approachTo be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related referencesApply Now If you're passionate about supporting young people and enjoy adapting your teaching to help individual learners succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
