We have vacancies in multiple specialities across all areas of practice in our theatre departments, in particular Orthopaedic/ Trauma scrub
This transformation is delivering new, state-of-the-art theatre facilities including an innovative four-table 'barn' theatre, one of the first of its kind in the UK, and significant investment in the future of Robotic surgery.
We are currently expanding our services and staffing establishment in line with the transformation of services across UHD. This is an exciting period of growth and we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals across a range of experience levels to join our friendly and supportive Theatre teams. We are looking for individuals who are:

Main duties of the job

Scrub in Orthopaedics, Trauma Provide high-quality care across multiple Specialities including
- Work within a24-hour, 7-day theatre service, participating innight shifts,weekend rotas, andbank holiday coverage.
About us
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services will move site this year. permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
This service has a planned move from April 2027 moving all elective to a single site and emergency, paediatrics and major surgery to the RBH site
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.

Qualifications
Essential
- NMC registered Nurse (Advanced Diploma/Degree in Adult Health Nursing) or . HCPC registered ODP (Dip (HE) Operating Department Practice)
