Steel Fabricator / Welder
to support an increased workload involving structural and architectural steel fabrication. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator/welder looking for an immediate start on a short-term contract with the possibility of further work. Duties:
Read and interpret engineering drawings Prepare, measure, cut and grind steel Tack and complete MIG/TIG welds Check completed work against technical drawings Fabricate structural and architectural steel, including staircases and canopies Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Requirements:
Previous experience in structural and architectural steel fabrication Confident reading engineering drawings Experienced in fabrication and welding TIG welding experience is essential Coded Welder (Class 2) for structural steel is highly desirable Reliable with excellent attention to detail Working Hours:
Monday to Friday Start between
7:00am8:00am Finish between
5:00pm6:00pm Location:
Smethwick, Birmingham (B66) Availability Immediate start Minimum
3-week contract
