Sterile Services Supervisor

Job summarySterile Services provide Sterile Surgical instrumentation and sets to the Trust. The department washes, disinfects, assembles, packages and sterilises the instrumentation. There is a vacancy for a Sterile Services Supervisor at the HSDU department at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch. The shift is 4pm-12pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover other shifts when required. The department is busy and fast paced where you need to think quickly and prioritise workload and the team. This is a physically demanding role with manual handling duties. No two days are ever the same, if you enjoy a challenge this job is for you.Main duties of the jobThe main duties of the role are to organise the day to day running of the shift ensuring work flows through the department and the instruments are processed in a timely manner.
