Storeman – Overhead Crane Operative Location: Middlesbrough Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour basic Overtime: Paid at 1.3x and 1.6x Position: Ongoing / Long-term Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeman to join an established engineering company based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, ongoing position within a busy engineering environment. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing stores environment and must hold a valid overhead crane licence/certificate. Key Responsibilities * Receiving, checking and storing incoming materials and equipment * Loading and unloading deliveries * Operating an overhead crane safely and efficiently * Moving heavy materials around the workshop and stores Requirements * Previous experience working as a Storeman / Stores Operative, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment * Valid overhead crane licence/certificate * Experience handling heavy materials * Good understanding of workplace health & safety What’s on Offer * £14.00 per hour basic rate * Overtime available at 1.3x and 1.6x * Ongoing, long-term work * Stable position with an established engineering company * Opportunity for regular overtime * Immediate start available for the right candidate If you are an experienced Storeman with an overhead crane licence and are looking for ongoing work in the Middlesbrough area, we would like to hear from you
