Stores Operative

Are you a Stores Operative looking for your next challenge? Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for a Stores Operative  to join one of their engineering clients based in Portsmouth, the role is temporary to permanent and paying up to £13.50ph.  As the Stores Operative  you will play a crucial role within the Stores, supporting the business in the upkeep and organisation of the onsite stores. The key responsibilities for the Stores Operative  role will include: Kit preparing for the production team (electronic components) Dealing with receiving goods and despatch of goods  Be responsible for organising and maintaining the stores and all physical stocks Ensuring all parts are stored and issue correctly to avoid damage. Follow all Health & Safety guidelines Heavy lifting of goods  Forklift operating  Inputting data information into computers Following instructions for picking & packing To be a successful Stores Operative you must: Have experience working within a manufacturing stores (ideally electronics) Forklift licence (desirable) Have kitting or Picking & Packing experience High level of attention to detail Be PC literate Accurate data entry and stock checks experience Be able to read and follow instructions for picking & packingThis is a Full time role, working a day shift Monday to Thursday with an early Finish on Fridays If you have the above experience and are looking for your next role please APPLY today or call Sam on (phone number removed) for more information
