Stores Person

Stores Person  Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced Stores Person to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing and developing business. Responsibilities as a Stores Person:  Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase order and delivery notes  Accurately record deliveries in inventory system Organise and maintain stock location and conduct regular stock checks  Issue stock and materials to internal departments Pick, pack and prepare customer or supplier orders for dispatch  Arrange shipments with approved carriers Report stock shortages, damages or non conforming materials  Requirements: Previous stores or logistics experience  Proficiency with ERP/ MRP systems. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Problem solving mindset with ability to work under pressure. Forklift experience is desirable  The Stores person role: Based in Alton  Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service) If you are interested in this Stores Person position, please apply below or get in contact with Jemma at Pertemps
