Hours: Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Street Lighting Engineer to join Manchester City Council's Highways Service .

This is a key technical role responsible for the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of street lighting across Manchester's highway network. The successful candidate will combine strong electrical street lighting engineering expertise with project management and asset management experience , overseeing maintenance and improvement programmes across a large and complex urban environment.

The service manages approximately 61,750 illuminated assets , including around 54,600 streetlights and 7,150 illuminated signs and bollards , making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a significant public infrastructure portfolio.
