Structural/Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer Contract Length: 12 months Hybrid: onsite – Full time Rate: £31.60 PAYE or £42.50 Umbrella inside IR35 This is an opportunity to work on complex aerospace projects, contributing to structural analysis activities across metallic and composite aircraft structures. You will play a key role in delivering high quality engineering solutions while supporting and developing junior engineers within the team. Carrying out structural sizing and analysis for aircraft structures. Performing structural assessments using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and traditional hand calculations. Undertaking fatigue and damage tolerance analysis. Defining and delivering engineering analysis tasks for yourself and members of the wider team. Demonstrating that structural designs meet relevant certification and project requirements. Working closely with engineering colleagues, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Developing efficient and effective engineering processes and working practices. Demonstrable experience working within a Design or Structures Engineering environment. Strong knowledge of aircraft structural analysis, including metallic and/or composite structures. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and traditional structural calculations. Experience in areas such as structural sizing, fatigue or damage tolerance analysis.
