Site Engineer - Structures - HS2 Sublot 2B, Coventry/Kenilworth £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Minimum 5-Month Contract with Scope for Extension Balfour Beatty VINCI, working on behalf of HS2, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer - Structures to join the team delivering major civil engineering works on Sublot 2B - a key section of the HS2 route extending north from Kenilworth through Warwickshire, Balsall Common and on to the River Blythe. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, contributing to the delivery of bridges, viaducts, and structures enabling full connectivity across the Network Rail corridor crossings in this section of HS2. The Role Reporting to the Section Engineer, you'll take ownership of site engineering control and implementation of works, monitoring and reporting progress across your area of responsibility. Key accountabilities include: Ensuring all permits are applied for and in place ahead of site works commencing Ensuring Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Check Sheets are completed promptly Setting out and surveying across structures works Managing subcontractors and using document control to manage information distribution Developing and approving procedures specific to your area of works Approving method statements and risk assessments, and ensuring compliance throughout Liaising regularly with the client and other sections to...
