About the Role
A primary school in Bukit Timah is seeking a Student Management Support Staff member to support its student management and intervention processes. The role involves managing student cases, facilitating restorative conversations, coordinating suspension programmes, and providing administrative and operational support to the Student Management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate cases of student misconduct and provide timely updates to relevant school personnel and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records using the school’s case-tracking system.
- Monitor student cases and ensure that required follow-up actions are completed.
- Facilitate student reflection, reconciliation and restorative conversations.
- Conduct regular check-ins with identified students.
- Support teachers in implementing student intervention and behaviour-management plans.
- Coordinate and supervise Recess Suspension and In-School Suspension duties.
- Compile reports, statistics and other documentation relating to student management matters.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Student Management team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the school.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification.
- Must be registered with the Ministry of Education’s Registration and Engagement Management System (REMS) at the point of application and remain registered throughout the contract period.
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Able to engage students and work collaboratively with school personnel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Singapore at the point of application.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience supporting students in a school environment.
- Relevant experience in counselling, behaviour management, case management or restorative practices.
Work Arrangements
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 7.30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break
- Service is generally not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays or school holidays.
- Attendance may occasionally be required for briefings or training sessions during school holidays or after regular school hours.
