Student Sonographer
Job summary
To undertake ultrasound examinations of patients under direct supervision of sonographers in the areas of both general and obstetric ultrasound.
To attend university as scheduled and complete all theory and practical assessments on time.
To liaise with ultrasound clinical lead for the purposes of scheduling training lists and progress checks.
This role requires HCPC Registration.
This post will include rotation to Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals and HSU CDC site.

The post holder will undertake training in the specialist areas of Obstetric and General Ultrasound. This will involve studying towards a postgraduate qualification on a day or block release system at a university of the Departments choice.
Participation in the extended day rota will be required.
