Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £29.50 per hour Umbrella / £21.50 per hour PAYE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a major global manufacturing operation in Desford.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large-scale, global supply chain environment, supporting major New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes and continuous improvement projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing supply chain solutions for new product launches while supporting improvements across planning, inventory, packaging, logistics and material flow.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will:
* Support supply chain planning activities across major New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes.
* Develop and implement supply chain solutions for new product launches.
* Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
* Support inventory optimisation and material flow planning.
* Work closely with procurement, logistics, operations and suppliers to ensure effective supply chain solutions.
* Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and cost.
* Support packaging strategy and optimisation activities.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.
* Prepare data and reports for senior management and leadership meetings.
* Support planning parameters, documentation and data-gathering activities.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and international supply base.
About You
We're looking for someone with approximately 4–5+ years' experience within supply chain, logistics or planning, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
You should have:
* Strong experience in Supply Chain Planning.
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience delivering planning or supply chain projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
* Good understanding of logistics planning and transportation.
Essential Technical Skills
Microsoft Excel is essential, including the ability to analyse and manipulate large amounts of date
