We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supported Living Manager to provide leadership in our Wakefield Learning Disabilities services and help us continue delivering high-quality, person-centred support. Whilst this position does not hold Registered Manager responsibility, it offers an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their leadership career, with the potential to progress into a Registered Manager role in the future. Role Responsibility As Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for the operational leadership and performance of multiple supported living services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Providing leadership, coaching and support to a team of 4 Team Managers. Overseeing the delivery of support across 9 supported living properties. Ensuring support plans, risk assessments and service delivery models remain effective and compliant. Monitoring and improving quality, compliance and performance across all services. Leading on safeguarding, incident management and risk reduction. Supporting recruitment, retention, development and succession planning. Managing budgets, staffing levels and service performance. Building positive relationships with commissioners, social workers, families and other stakeholders. Supporting business growth and service development opportunities. Ensuring services are inspection-ready and operate in line with regulatory and organisational requirements. Experience managing supported living, learning disability or social care services. Strong knowledge of person-centred approaches and positive risk management. Experience of performance management, quality assurance and service improvement. Strong financial and resource management skills. Knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements within social care. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
