Were looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our Dorset Outreach team, supporting a young adult living just outside Dorchester.Youll be providing 1:1 community-based support helping them take part in meaningful activities, stay active, and grow in confidence.This is a fun and rewarding role where your relationship with the person you support really matters. About the person youll be
supporting :
They are a sociable and friendly person in their early twenties who thrives on routine, humour, and connection. They enjoy spending time outdoors, all things gardening, music, festivals, swimming, and trying new foods. They are also keen to build up their volunteering and community involvement.Theyre happiest when outside in nature, doing things they enjoy, they need support to safely access these opportunities whilst developing their independence. This individual responds well to upbeat, calm support workers who are patient, observant, and fun to be around. Having the same people around regularly helps them feel safe and supported. Where youll be working:
Dorchester and surrounding areas Shift patterns are 09:00-15:00, Monday
Friday. This is a community-based support role with no personal care required. Youll be accompanying them to activities, clubs, appointments, and volunteering roles. As this is a 1:1 support role, a driver with access to your own car is essential Please note:
This role involves full personal care, meal preparation, and following detailed routines. What youll get with Agincare:

A calm, patient, and observant approach A reassuring presence who can build
trust
over time Ability to follow clear routines and care plans in detail Experience
supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential
full training provided Willingness to work in partnership with family and colleagues to ensure consistency For day shifts, a full clear driving license is desirable but not essential What your role will include:
Supporting
with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, dressing, and toileting Preparing safe, nutritious meals in line with dietary needs Support
out in the community Providing reassurance, structure, and positive engagement throughout the day or night Monitoring safety and wellbeing Recording daily notes accurately and reporting any concerns promptly About Agincare:
