Support Worker
Location: Kirby Cross, Essex
Salary: £14.00 per hour (£27,300 per annum)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 5 days per week, every other weekend
Shift Pattern: 07:00 14:30 / 14:30 22:00

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to a gentleman with Autism in his own home and within the local community. You will help promote independence, encourage meaningful engagement, and ensure he feels safe, respected, and supported.
Provide tailored support based on individual needs, preferences, and routines
Support the gentleman to access the community and take part in activities he enjoys
Promote independence, confidence, and personal wellbeing
Build a positive and trusting relationship through consistent support
Encourage meaningful engagement while respecting dignity and choice
Work alongside colleagues to provide excellent standards of care
About You
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
Essential experience supporting people with Autism
Previous experience with trauma-informed care is highly desirable
Calm, patient, and understanding approach
Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for care
Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
Full UK Driving Licence is required and applicants must reside within the Essex area
