Support Worker – Hove - £13.41ph

Typical Shifts are varied:
7:30am - 3pm / 3pm - 10:30pm / Sleep shift (10:30pm - 7:30am)

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us, you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Hove is a welcoming and friendly environment, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs. No two days will be the same, and you'll play a key role in helping the people we support lead fulfilling, independent lives. You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by:


• Teaching them new life skills
• Assisting with personal care
• Encouraging them to access their local communities
• Socialising and taking part in a range of activities

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the needs of the people we support, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience supporting individuals with Autism and Mental Health needs and who understand the importance of providing consistent, person-centred support.

For this service, Support Workers should:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach
• Have experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Have experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism
