Residential Support Worker – Children's Residential Home Newhaven, East Sussex | £27,500 – £34,000 per annum (DOE + Sleep-In Payments) | Full Time | Permanent Make Every Day Matter Lemontree Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for caring and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join a children's residential home in Newhaven. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who have experienced trauma, helping them build confidence, independence and brighter futures in a safe, nurturing environment. The Role As a Residential Support Worker, you'll provide emotional and practical support while promoting positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities * Build positive relationships with young people. * Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support. * Promote safeguarding and children's welfare at all times. * Support education, appointments and daily activities. * Encourage independence and life skills. * Complete accurate records and reports. * Work flexibly, including sleep-ins, evenings and weekends. About You Essential * Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals. * Passionate about improving young people's lives. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Full UK driving licence. * Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already qualified. Desirable * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. * Experience in children's residential care. * Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice or SEMH.
