Support Worker - Newtownards

Support Workers required to work with our client Praxis. These roles are in the Newtownards area. This temporary, ongoing position offers an immediate start with a range of hours available from 7.30am-3.30pm, 3pm-10.30pm and to include night shifts and sleepovers with a pay rate of £13.50-£17.50 depending on the shift worked. Previous experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours preferred. 

These positions offer the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, learning disabilities, and other support needs. Duties will include working as part of a friendly and supportive team, providing care and assistance to service users, supporting activities and supervising outings in a sociable and engaging environment. 

What We Need From You:

• Previous healthcare experience
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• To attend mandatory training courses
• Undergo an Access NI check
