Breedon Surfacing Solutions provide a wide range of asphalt surfacing contracting services across the UK, delivering a comprehensive asphalt surfacing solution for the construction and maintenance of public highways; infrastructure; residential and industrial developments and minor works. Our client base ranges from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies. Key Responsibilities * Carry out work in accordance with instructions given by the Foreperson * Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, safe to use and operated in the manner for which it was designed * Maintain all PPE to a high standard to ensure it is in a good serviceable condition * Support less experienced operatives * Maintain professional working practices * Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures and safety commitments * Report all accidents, incidents, near miss events, issues and concerns * Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements of the specification Skills, Knowledge & Expertise * Previous Surfacing Experience * CSCS card and driving license are essential for all roles * Paver, Roller and Tractor Drivers will be required to hold MPQC/CPCS tickets for the relevant plant Job Benefits * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Contributory Pension Scheme * Free on-site Parking * Volunteer Scheme * Share Save Scheme * Life Assurance * Enhanced Maternity, Adoption & Paternity Scheme * Health & Wellbeing Initiatives * Discount Scheme
