Survery Technical Manager About the Role We are looking for an experienced Survey Technical Manager to lead our high performing small Fire Door Survey team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality fire door surveys across the UK, ensuring full compliance with current fire safety regulations while driving operational efficiency and technical excellence. As the technical authority for the survey function, you will line-manage surveyors including sub-contractors, approve survey outputs for quotation, and work closely with our technical, quoting, and installation teams to develop compliant solutions for complex or non-standard installations. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management: * Line manage the survey team, including performance management, training, development, and mentoring of surveyors. * Foster a collaborative and positive team culture. * Provide regular reports and insights to Managing Director. Scheduling & Operations: * Oversee the scheduling and allocation of surveys to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilisation. Technical Support & Approval: * Provide expert technical guidance to the team on fire door assessments, passive fire protection, and fire stopping. * Approve completed surveys prior to handover for quotation.
