As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that make a real difference while developing your career in a dynamic and growing organisation. You'll design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for water and wastewater treatment assets along with producingand reviewing technical documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Software Design Specifications (SDS), test documentation, commissioning records, and operation manuals. We'll need you to undertake Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and perform as intended and supportQuality Assurance (QA) processes by ensuring all work complies with company procedures, client standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practices. You'll participate in design reviews, audits, and lessons-learned workshops, contributing to continuous improvement across engineering and project delivery teams. You'll collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget along with providing technical support, troubleshooting, and optimisation of existing control systems to improve operational performance, reliability, and asset life. You'll apply industry standards and best practices, including cyber security, functional safety, health and safety, and quality management requirements as well and needing to build and maintain strong client relationships, providing trusted technical expertise and contributing to M Group Water's reputation for excellence. We'll need you to work across the UKs Midlands Region, we operate from two key office locations: Do you have experience with Schneider/Rockwell Automation/Mitsubishi hardware and software platforms? Have you got a background in the water and wastewater sector? Do you have the ability to interpret and apply client specifications, technical standards, and user requirements to develop practical and compliant engineering solutions? Have you got knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, including software development, testing, and commissioning activities? Do you have an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) processes, documentation standards, and the importance of delivering work right first time? Are you someone who has excellent organisational, time management, and project delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities? Do you have Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities that add value for clients and the business? Have you got a commitment to health, safety, quality, and cyber security best practices? Do you hold a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required? Do you have an understanding of industrial communications networks and protocols, such as, Ethernet/IP, CCLink, DH+, and Modbus?
