Your new role As a Tax Manager, you will work across both advisory and compliance matters, supporting a varied client portfolio while developing trusted client relationships.
Key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of tax clients, ensuring work is delivered accurately and to HMRC deadlines.
Supporting and delivering a range of tax advisory projects, including restructuring, share schemes, R&D-related matters and tax planning assignments.
Identifying tax risks and opportunities and providing practical recommendations to clients.
Collaborating with wider service teams to ensure seamless delivery of client work.
Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and communicating relevant impacts.
Reviewing work, providing technical guidance and supporting the development of junior team members.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: CTA, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
A strong UK tax background gained within professional practice.
Experience managing client portfolios and reviewing tax work.
Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax and/or personal tax.
Experience working with owner-managed businesses.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Previous exposure to advisory projects and experience mentoring or managing junior staff.
