Key Stage 1 Teacher Location: Dartford Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm Contract: Full-time We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team in the Dartford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for young children. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress Managing classroom behaviour effectively Working closely with colleagues and supporting the wider school community Promoting high standards of safeguarding, learning and pupil wellbeing We're Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to supporting children's learning Has excellent communication and classroom management skills Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers Works well as part of a team DBS Requirement Applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to pay for and complete a new enhanced DBS check prior to commencing the role.
