Leigh Academy Peninsula East has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our team and become a key part of our vibrant, caring and inclusive school community. Our school is more than just a place to learn - it is a place to grow. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of supporting children in an educational setting, a strong grasp of both spoken and written English and Mathematics, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning across the classroom. You will help pupils to engage with their learning, build confidence and make progress, while contributing to a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can succeed. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider life of the academy and help meet the varying needs of our pupils.

This is a permanent opportunity, and offers an actual salary of £18,923 per annum (£25,185 full-time equivalent), working 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset. Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm.
