Teaching Assistant Required - Outstanding Secondary School - Brent Cross, North West London Graduates, Psychology Graduates, Sports Coaches and Experienced Teaching Assistants Welcome I'm seeking a number of Teaching Assistants who are looking to make a real difference in students' academic and personal development to join a thriving and supportive Outstanding secondary school based in Brent Cross, North West London. This position is starting in September 2026 and is open to graduates, Psychology graduates, individuals with a sports coaching background, and experienced Teaching Assistants. The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, reliable and have a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential within a successful SEN department. You will be supporting students with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural difficulties and Dyslexia, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive within the school environment. TEACHING ASSISTANT INFORMATION: The position is open to graduates, Psychology graduates, sports coaches and experienced Teaching Assistants. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support. Easily accessible by public transport, with onsite parking available. TEACHING ASSISTANT CONTRACT DETAILS Location: Brent Cross, North West London Position: Teaching Assistant Type of Work: Supporting students across KS3 / KS4 / KS5 Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Full Time Only (8:00am - 3:30pm/4:00pm, plus parents' evenings where required) Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience) PERSON SPECIFICATION: A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. Psychology degree or sports coaching background desirable, but not essential. Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous. A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and helping them succeed. Strong communication skills, patience and a proactive attitude. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
