SEND Teaching Assistants
for long-term roles in Derby City SEND and SEMH provisions. Youll be supporting
small groups of pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour , helping them to thrive in a safe, structured environment. These roles offer
stability, consistency and the chance to build strong relationships
with pupils and staff. For the right people, they can lead to
permanent opportunities . Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
Working with small groups and occasional 1:1
Helping pupils regulate and engage in learning
Working collaboratively with teachers and support teams
Providing calm, consistent and nurturing support
Ideal candidates will have: Experience in SEND or behaviour support
Resilience, patience and a positive attitude
Strong relationship-building skills
Full-time availability
A genuine desire to help young people succeed
