This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants more than a purely classroom-based role. You will work alongside experienced teachers and the school's inclusion team, supporting pupils both individually and in small groups. What You'll Be Doing As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small-group support across the primary age range Deliver targeted interventions in reading, phonics, writing and maths Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs Help children develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours Work alongside teachers to adapt activities and resources Support pupils during lessons, playtimes and wider school activities Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment Who We're Looking For The school is particularly interested in candidates who are: Experienced Teaching Assistants looking for a new challenge Graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology or child development Experienced tutors, mentors, sports coaches or youth workers looking to move into education Patient, enthusiastic and confident working with children Able to build strong relationships while maintaining clear boundaries Interested in developing their understanding of SEND and inclusive educationPrevious primary school experience is desirable, but the school will consider strong candidates with relevant transferable experience.
