We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school team in Sheffield.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in the classroom individually and in small groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Support children with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence and wellbeing
  • Assist with classroom preparation and administrative tasks


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • Be patient, positive and approachable
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Show a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
