Teaching Assistant - KS1  Location: Westbridge Academy, Battersea, London Pay: Paid to Scale  Contract: Full-time Start Date: September 2026 The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated General Teaching Assistant for Early years to Reception to join Westbridge Academy on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with the classroom and children with additional needs within a welcoming and inclusive primary academy. The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities and promote positive behaviour. Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive. Requirements Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a UK school setting  Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs. Strong communication skills with a patient, proactive, and caring approach.
