Team Assistant - Top Investment Bank | £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 6 months (with potential to extend for an additional 6 months or convert to permanent)

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility for overtime)

About the Role:

A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Junior Assistant to provide vital administrative support to bankers within an industry group team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.


This position is well-suited for someone with experience of diary management/transferable skills from a professional company background and who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diary and calendar management support for bankers (Associate level and above)
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Coordinate internal/external meeting room bookings and video conferences across global locations
  • Arrange complex travel logistics, including visas, international flights, accommodations, and car services
  • Process expenses and invoices with accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks while maintaining workflow consistency
  • Support the team with day-to-day queries and operational needs
  • Provide phone and holiday coverage for colleagues when required

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, Zoom, and in-person interactions
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all organizational levels, internally and externally
  • A collaborative team player who remains calm under pressure in a changing environment
