We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the automotive aftermarket for a Technical Sales Advisor to join their growing technical sales team.

The Role As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers requiring technical support and product advice across both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
Working closely with colleagues across sales and customer service, you'll help identify the correct parts, resolve technical queries, and ensure customers receive a first-class service.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining technical support, customer service, sales support and problem solving.
The responsibilities are based on the supplied job description.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert technical advice for car and commercial vehicle parts.
Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email and support systems.
Identify the correct parts using electronic parts catalogues and internal databases.
Investigate technical and cross-reference queries.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Support the wider sales and customer service teams with technical expertise.
Escalate product or catalogue issues to ensure quick resolution.
Assist with training new team members where required.
Promote online self-service tools and systems.
Occasionally travel to UK sites when required.
About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for the automotive industry.
Essential Experience working within the automotive industry (aftermarket preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of cars and commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
GCSE level education (or equivalent).
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPCs).
Experience with vehicle diagnostics.
Garage or workshop background.
Automotive engineering knowledge, particularly mechanics and vehicle electronics.
Experience or knowledge of commercial vehicles.
