Job Title:- Technical Service Advisor Salary:- £40,000 - £42,000  Location:- Ewhurst You're great with cars. Even better with people. Holt Recruitment are Partnered with an award-winning Independent Garage Group looking for a Technical Service Advisor to become the link between and the customer. Maybe you're a Senior Technician, Workshop Controller, Parts Manager or experienced Service Advisor who's built years of technical knowledge, but you'd like a role that's a little less physical, and a lot more about using your expertise to convert enquiries into Workshop Activity. What You'll Be Doing Producing accurate repair estimates from technician findings. Explaining repairs in plain English—no jargon. Discussing repair options and answering customer questions. Converting genuine enquiries into authorised work through trust, not pressure. Using modern garage management systems, AI tools and online technical data. Working closely with technicians to ensure customers receive the right advice. They're looking for:- Has strong automotive technical knowledge. Can confidently explain complex repairs to customers. Enjoys building relationships and communicating with people. Is organised, process-driven and comfortable using technology. Wants a long-term career with a growing business. Ideally, you'll have a background as either a:- Senior Vehicle Technician Diagnostic Technician Workshop Controller Service Advisor Parts Manager Bodyshop Estimator Technical Support or Warranty Advisor If you're ready to use your technical knowledge in a role where communication is just as important as diagnostics, we should absolutely talk.
