Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will learn how to build bespoke equipment from concept through to completion using engineering drawings and schematics. In this Junior Electromechanical Technician role based in Oxfordshire, you will be responsible for the following: Assisting with the assembly of bespoke machinery using schematic and layout drawings. Installing electrical components in accordance with engineering schematics and drawings. Carrying out electrical wiring, module wiring and soldered connector assembly under guidance. Supporting fault finding, testing, quality assurance and repair activities. Working closely with experienced team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards. The successful applicant for this Junior Electromechanical Technician job based in Oxfordshire should have: A keen interest in electrical and mechanical engineering. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or a willingness to learn. A basic understanding of electrical wiring, assembly techniques or mechanical fitting. Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, assembly or technician environment would be advantageous but is not essential. GCSEs, A Levels, BTEC qualifications, an apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications demonstrating an aptitude for electrical and mechanical engineering.
