About the Role:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and maximising relationships within a defined panel of intermediary accounts to deliver agreed sales targets. Through proactive and consultative telephone and Teams-based engagement, the role focuses on driving product awareness, supporting partners' sales capability, and identifying opportunities to increase general insurance revenue. The postholder will use data led insight to influence performance, provide tailored guidance, and promote best practice behaviours. They will ensure partners receive consistent, high quality support that strengthens long term growth and builds trusted partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a defined panel of firms, building strong and trusted partner relationships while promoting the Paymentshield proposition.
• Deliver sustained sales growth across your panel and achieve agreed business targets.
