HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – Yate, Bristol - Earn up to £26.84 per hour | Tuesday to Saturday | Weekly Pay | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | New Passes Welcome | Immediate Starts People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Yate, Bristol . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established logistics business. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Home Delivery Driver, Rigid Driver or Delivery Driver . Shifts • Tuesday to Saturday  • Variable morning start times depending on the route 17.90 per hour  • £26.84 per hour overtime  • Weekly pay (PAYE – holiday accrued separately) As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will receive the following benefits: • Excellent Hourly Rates  • Weekly Pay  • Temp-to-Perm Opportunity  • Immediate Starts Available  • New Passes Welcome  • Full Training Provided  • Driver's Mate Provided on Every Route  • Company Discounts  • Employee Wellbeing Programme  • Staff Canteen  • Free On-site Parking As an HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include but not be limited to: • Completing between 16 and 24 multi-drop home deliveries per day alongside a Driver's Mate  • Delivering large or bulky goods to customers' room of choice  • Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects  • Maintaining accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork  • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location  • Following all road transport legislation and company procedures To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence  • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements)  • A reliable and professional attitude  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience would be advantageous  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial  • Experience delivering large or bulky goods would be advantageous Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment If you're looking for a long-term driving opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
