Job Description Area Cleaning Supervisor Various sites across Barnsley £30,043.26 Pro rata (£15.61 an hour) Full UK driving licence required as van providedWere looking for an experienced and motivated Area Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites around Barnsley.
The role is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day, with various shift patterns that may include split shifts.
A Full UK driving license is required as a company van is provided.Supervise cleaning teams across multiple locations, ensuring sites are maintained to contract standardsPlan, allocate, and monitor staff schedules, covering absences and holidays where requiredCarry out regular site inspections and quality auditsSupport the recruitment, onboarding, and training of cleaning operativesManage stock levels and order cleaning materials/equipment as neededEnsure all Health & Safety, COSHH, and company policies are adhered toLiaise with clients to maintain strong relationships and promptly address any issuesComplete and submit required paperwork such as timesheets, and reportsAbout You: Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning role, ideally across multiple sitesStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsFlexible approach with the ability to travel between sites (full UK driving licence essential)Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsConfident using smartphones/tablets for reporting and scheduling tasksFlexibility to work early mornings and eveningsWhat We Offer: Competitive salary with company vehicle and fuel cardUniform and equipment providedOngoing training and career development opportunities22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays as well as sickness and pension schemeAn enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.We are committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment and eliminate unlawful and or unfair discrimination.
